Our treatment approach is a "hands on" manual
therapy that is customized to the needs of each client.

The private sessions for manual therapy deliver a holistic approach including soft tissue mobilization
to massage), myofascial release techniques, joint mobilization, neuromuscular re-training (the connection between your muscle and brain for efficient coordinated movement), as well as instruction on exercises for mobility, function, and performance enhancement.

We often use a treatment technique called visceral and neural manipulation
. To understand visceral and neural manipulation more please read description below or go to the Barral link on the pages menu.

The session are geared not just to make you feel better but actually move and function better for life and prevent further injury.

Visceral and Neural Manipulation:

It is the gentle external manipulation of the fascia surrounding the nervous system or visceral structures (internal organs), which can become "stuck" together due to surgery, illness, inflammation, injury, food allergies and intolerances, stress, or just the wear and tear of living.

The "stuck" effect may be from adhesions, scar tissue, connective tissue that can no longer move freely thereby limiting motion and creating pain (like a really tight shirt makes it hard to raise your arms up or really tight jeans make it hard to squat).

Visceral and Neural therapy can help treat:
  • Pain in in joints such as hips, shoulders, back and neck
  • Sports Injuries
  • Decreased mobility and stiffness in muscles and joints
  • Nerve pain and Neuralgias
  • Post injury or surgical scars
  • Chronic pain
  • Headaches and Migraines
  • IBS
  • GERD
  • Sciatica
  • Pelvic and Bladder dysfunctions
  • Pelvic Floor Issues and Coccyx problems
  • Postpartum aches and imbalances
  • C-section and abdominal scars
  • Diastasis Recti
  • Endometriosis
  • Infertility
  • Scoliosis
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome and Nerve entrapment syndromes
  • Trigeminal neuralgia
  • TMJ pain
  • and so much more....
Most people feel significant improvements in 3-6 sessions.
