I first came to IMPT seeking manual therapy and visceral manipulation after a road cycling fall. I found this specific, focused physical therapy very effective in my recovery. I’ve continued ongoing appointments with IMPT to support my health while pursuing my keen interest in cycling and hiking.
I originally sought care from IMPT after experiencing severe knee pain and joint stiffness. After a series of manual therapy and physical therapy treatments, I have been able to resume hiking and other outdoor activities without pain! In addition, Veronika and Stephanie have patiently worked with me to increase flexibility through visceral manipulation and reduce headaches. I highly recommend Veronika and Stephanie, two exceptionally gifted healers who show genuine compassion for their clients.
I had many consults with a variety of body work professionals to figure out why I had such pain and tension. While some treatments, including manual therapy, would work for a while, I often found myself back to square one. Veronika was able to ask amazing questions and test my body mechanically and neurologically, bringing the puzzle pieces together. She is not only at the top of her field in physical therapy but is also a compassionate ‘knowledge junkie’ in the best way. I highly recommend her.
When my 80-year-old dad fell ill and was struggling to recover from pain and neuralgia, I called Steph and Veronika. They offer a gift to the whole family, meeting people right where they are and helping in so many ways, including through techniques like visceral manipulation!

Visceral manipulation techniques, including levels 1 & 2 for the abdomen, pelvis, and thorax, are integral to manual therapy. Advanced methods in visceral manipulation for the thorax and neck, along with manual thermal evaluation and visceroemotional levels 5 & 6, expand the scope of physical therapy. Additionally, courses on neural manipulation address trauma and whiplash at level 1, as well as the upper and lower extremities, and cranial nerves, culminating in advanced neural manipulation at level 5. Vascular manipulation of the upper body and thorax, along with the lower body, abdomen, and pelvis, plays a crucial role in overall treatment. The LT1 course focuses on advanced assessment of the body, while LT2 covers endocrine and brain techniques. Further, fascial crossroads and advanced treatments of the disc and spine are essential aspects of manual therapy. Manual articular manipulation is offered for both the lower and upper extremities, as well as for the spine and pelvis. Brain levels 1-4, polyvagal coursework, and vagus nerve classes are also included, along with lymph treatment and a synovial joint and lymph course. Lastly, advanced urogynecological techniques and advanced labor and delivery methods are vital components of modern physical therapy.
